Here's a another great photo donated by Brad Heaney. The photo is dated April 30, 1898. The cyclists are Elizabeth B. McCahan, Mr. W.J. McCahan, Jr. and H.G. Peddle. The buildings in the background are the First Presbyterian Church and adjacent Sunday school.

The church, constructed in 1873, was the first church in Wenonah. The initial membership was 18. It is now a private residence at 5. N. Clinton Ave.

The Sunday school anex was added in 1883. The structure was later moved to W. Mantua Ave. and became our town's first public library. It subsequently housed several businesses, including dance, photography and yoga studios
